It is Teaser Tuesday, hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Here's what to do:
·
Grab your current read
·
Open to a random page
·
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
· BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you
share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
·
Share the title and author too, so that other TT participants can add the
book to their To Be Read (TBR) lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser:
"Before Sophie and Teabing could respond, a sea of blue police lights and sirens erupted at the bottom of the hill and began snaking up the half-mile driveway. Teabing frowned. 'My friends, it seems we have a decision to make. And we'd better make it fast.'"
My teaser is taken from Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, his famous bestseller covering such topics as Catholicism, Jesus, Da Vinci, secret societies and huge secrets, to mention a few.

Thanks for stopping by The Busy Mom's Daily. I've never read a Dan Brown book, but I have to admit this one sounds intriguing. I tend to steer clear of such popular works. I might have to break my rule for this one.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes...I remember that scene. Thanks for stopping by!
